What the comment says is true... My name is Marcus and I am from Germany. I was windsurfing in Karpathos, which has the best clubs in Greece, and I had an accident. I had cut my hand badly. The club managers called Dr. Socrates to come to where I was sitting with my bloody hand. Within 20 minutes he was there. He was carrying his huge suitcase, had shoulder-length hair, was wearing a Jordan hat, and was wearing biker sunglasses. I immediately felt that he was one of our people. After he welcomed me to the island and we introduced ourselves, he immediately saw the problem, reassured me, and using local anesthesia, he dressed my wound. He recommended that I get waterproof bandages for my injury and continue surfing the next day. He was incredibly fast and I didn't feel any pain at all. Then we sat together for 5 minutes and he sorted out my health insurance papers. He is the best doctor I have ever met and so different from all the others I have met in my life. This is a doctor from another dimension. I was swimming in the sea on the beach in Pigadia-Karpathos outside the Konstantinos Hotel. Suddenly I felt a severe pain in my left shoulder and I couldn't move my arm. Immediately some people went and informed the hotel reception who called a doctor. Within 3 minutes Dr. Socrates came with a medical suitcase. At that time I was sitting at the beach bar and holding my arm because every movement caused me pain. He sees me and tells me that I have suffered a shoulder dislocation. He reassured me and told me to lie down on the sand. The doctor took off his clogs and put one of his feet under my left armpit. He told me to calm down and take a deep breath and then he pulled it out, twisted it a little, there was a click and that was it. My hand was working again. So simple. So relieving. Then he treated me to an ice cold beer. It was incredible that he did the job where I was... on the sand. I will never forget that day. Thank you, Doctor Socrates!!!
